remember snail mail? not many people out there still use it anymore. unfortunately it's a dying thing. but today i'm proud to share that i signed up with christianna & michelle's blog pals snail mail program. basically they give you a fellow blogger's name, address & blog information & you send them a letter via the mail {not email. mail, like with a stamp & all}. your information is also given to another fellow blogger. i received my first letter the other day from kathryn. it was such a sweet letter sharing bits & pieces of her life. her kids even picked out cute smiley face stickers for me & kathryn sent me a chick-fil-a gift card. woohoo! she must have known i love that place :)
i got an email this afternoon with my newest blog pal's info & i actually mailed the letter today! it's an awesome idea & a fun way to meet new bloggers. i love it! if you like receiving letters from others, visit christianna & michelle's blogs for more information.

ReplyDeleteit really is! it's also a great way for me to use up all those leftover stamps from our wedding invitations :p but after an exchange of our own, you'll receive snail mail from me too!!!!
Deleteaww snail mail! :)
ReplyDeleteps i wish i could pull off short hair like you. too bad my face is really round and i would just look like a boy

DeleteCool! I have been thinking about doing something similar to this in the near future, but different :) Looks fun, pen pals but for bloggers!! Speaking of short hair, Marsa totally reminded me of a dream last night I had about my hair getting cut short, eeeek! And you totally scored with chick-fil-a!!!
ReplyDeleteps: i heart your tie-dye shirt :)
