the happiest 5k on the planet

it's defined as the world's happiest 5k & i totally agree. i tried signing up last year but it quickly sold out. so when i heard it would be here this spring break, i convinced most of my family to do it with me. a percentage of our money went to children's healthcare of atlanta. M & i don't run 5k unless the money supports some charity. my rockstar sister-in-law, lindsay, beat us all. like i said, she's a rockstar. i would like to say i ran the whole thing, but my little sister, abby, had to walk some & asked me to stick with her. we still managed to finish under 30 minutes, which was my goal. i recommend this for anyone looking to have a bit of fun, run a 5k in style or to simply donate money to support a charity. already signing up for their return in september. let me know if you were there too or plan to run in september!

xoxo

  3. I'm doing the color run in September with my sister. We've never done a run or anything and I'm pretty lazy so it'll be a challenge but it's going to a good cause! This makes me excited to do this!

  12. There were people on campus with colors all over their face but I didn't know what it was for! And I definitely didn't know there was an awesome looking race! I am definitely going to check it out next year.

Have you heard of the 5K Foam Fest? This one also looks like a lot of fun!

  17. I've been wanting to do the color run for two years now. I found out about it right before we were leaving Oregon. So sad they don't have it in other countries! There was a big color run in Springfield, MO (close to where I went to college), and my facebook feed was blowing up from pictures! Your pictures are fantastic. :)

    I WILL do this someday.
